How do I know if my child is eligible for insurence-covered ABA therapy?2025-08-25T16:46:08-04:00

We will attempt to verify your health insurance benefits, and or necessary authorizations for you. Please be aware, we cannot guarantee coverage or verify that definite eligibility of benefits conveyed to us or to you by your carrier will be accurate or complete. Payment of benefits are subject to all terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of the member’s contract at the time of service.

How much does ABA therapy cost? 2025-09-04T13:45:57-04:00

At The Learning Tree ABA, we bill your health insurance for the services we provide. We are in network with all Maryland Medicaid plans and we accept most commercial insurance plans.

In many cases, there is no cost to you for our services. However, many commercial insurance plans have deductible or copay/coinsurance charges that you may be responsible for. During the intake process, we are transparent about any potential costs and, if necessary, we work with you to come up with a payment plan that works for you. Our priority is to provide high-quality ABA therapy, and we never want the cost to be a barrier to your child’s success.

Once my child is enrolled in services, how do I get in touch with my ABA providers?2025-09-14T09:52:20-04:00

Following the initial ABA assessment, you will receive a Case Coordination via email which contains all the details of your child’s treatment schedule along with the names and contact information of your child’s providers. Along with the Case Coordination, you will receive a profile letter of introduction for each provider with a photo, contact information, and brief biographical blurb. In most situations, any questions or concerns you have regarding your child’s treatment and behavior plan should be directed to your child’s BCBA. We also provide each family with a dedicated Care Coordinator who is responsible for coordinating your child’s ABA therapy services and who will be your go-to contact for all non-clinical matters pertaining to your child’s care. And, finally, if you ever need to contact our main office, you can always reach us at (410) 205 – 9493 and we will be happy to assist in whatever way we can.

What is Parent Training?2025-09-15T12:41:31-04:00

As a parent, you play an integral role in your child’s treatment. Our Parent Training sessions, conducted by your child’s BCBA, gives you the opportunity to learn about your child’s treatment, progress, and what you can do to reinforce your child’s learning throughout their day. It also gives the BCBA an opportunity to learn from you more about your child and what progress/issues you are noticing as the treatment progresses. Your participation in our Parent Training sessions is vital to the success of your child’s overall progress. Parent Training sessions will typically be scheduled 2-4 times monthly, depending on the need, and may include the participation of your child, giving you the opportunity to learn and practice effective ABA techniques.
