How much does ABA therapy cost?

At The Learning Tree ABA, we bill your health insurance for the services we provide. We are in network with all Maryland Medicaid plans and we accept most commercial insurance plans.

In many cases, there is no cost to you for our services. However, many commercial insurance plans have deductible or copay/coinsurance charges that you may be responsible for. During the intake process, we are transparent about any potential costs and, if necessary, we work with you to come up with a payment plan that works for you. Our priority is to provide high-quality ABA therapy, and we never want the cost to be a barrier to your child’s success.

Who will be providing the ABA services?

After the initial ABA assessment is completed, your child will be assigned to a therapist, referred to as a Behavior Technician (BT). The BT will be the one working one-on-one with your child on a regular basis implementing the treatment plan. Many of our behavior technicians are board-certified as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) or are actively in the process of obtaining their RBT status. Your child’s therapist works under the supervision of a state-licensed Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who serves as the team leader providing regular supervision, parent training, and ongoing treatment planning tailored to your child’s needs.

Nurse Practitioners (NPs): With the right training and clinical background, NPs can participate in the assessment and diagnosis of developmental disorders, including autism.
